Sir Nicholas's Deathday Party: Grilled Rotten Mackerel with Lemon and Herbs

Ingredients
  • 1 - whole Mackerel, cleaned, skin on, scales removed
  • ½ tsp - lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp - olive oil
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp - espelette powder
  • 2 - pieces green onion, chopped
  • ¼ tsp - salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill over medium high heat. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and start to coat the fish with the mixture. Season the cavity of the fish with salt and pepper as well.
  2. Grill the fish for 8-10 minutes on each side or until cooked. Serve the fish with a side of lemon.
